I purchased this mat to give as a gift along with a set of muslins. The new mom loved it. I’m sure she will really appreciate it as the baby grows and is fascinated by its design. A few years ago I purchased the Keith Haring design mat for my granddaughter. My daughter loved it and it was used all the time. You can’t go wrong with Etta Loves, the products make wonderful, useful, and unique gifts.

Perfect for my newborn for tummy time right now. It’s a lovely soft fabric and great thickness, good size and versatile too. My baby loves staring at the black and white side right now and I can’t wait for them to switch to the colourful side when they’re a bit older! A lovely addition to our baby’s sensory experience.

These planets are great for little babies. It simulates them and they seem to love it

We purchased this for granddaughter who was born six weeks early. She’s only one month old but our daughter places her on the black and white side of the playmat and it really stimulates her. Our daughter is thrilled with the mat.

Soft and versatile enough to be used anywhere. We often carry the mat in the change bag. It also provides enough stimuli to make tummy time (almost) enjoyable.

Item arrived quickly, and mother and baby think it's great!

We have a few things from Etta loves - the 0-4 muslins, the 5+ muslin and we were kindly gifted the play mat from grandparents. All of the products are absolutely beautiful and excellent quality.

To give a very quick background - unfortunately when my son was born he was really quite poorly and he had a stint in NICU and then 7 hospital admissions before he was 3 months old. One of the things that we noticed early on is that he wasn’t focusing or tracking people/objects, and actually it seemed that his vision was getting worse rather than better as time went on. When we asked the doctors what we could do to support him with his development they encouraged us to give him things to stimulate him, but no specific guidance. So we started using the Etta loves muslins and play mat. We could tell very quickly that he was focusing on the patterns in a way that he wasn’t responding to other toys/books etc. Every day we spent time using the muslins and play mat using them as the hacks suggest and really felt like they were making a difference. 

A couple of weeks ago my son had his first appointment in the eye clinic where he was seen by the Orthoptist and Ophthalmologist and they were absolutely delighted with how he is doing. He is doing everything a 5 month old baby should - a huge change from the 3 month old who couldn’t focus or track. I truly believe that the beautiful products have really helped us and I will be recommending them to everyone I know. I know lots of people love them for letting them drink their cup of tea in peace (and they’ve certainly done that for us too) but for us it has helped us feel confident that we’re using the best things that we can to support his development. 

We have two packs of Etta loves Muslins and more recently the playmat. I cannot recommend enough! Our little boy loves playing on it and looking at the design on both products. He’s so alert and so interested it’s amazing to watch him grow and develop. Thank you so much!

I was on the fence about the play mat as I seemed to already have nearly everything from Etta Loves in my basket, including the animal print sensory strip and animal print muslin. Was this a bit of overkill? Absolutely not! My little one was fixated from the day we came home and had the comfort of the quilted mat at the same time which the muslin wouldn’t provide. He was lifting and holding his head during tummy time at just 3 days old. The quality is absolutely amazing and worth every penny. I either prop a small portion of the side up or add the sensory strip. I also love having a little rest on it! Excellent customer service, wonderful small business xox

My son hates tummy time. He just screams. But this mat has really changed things!! He will happily do tummy time for a while now, and it is actually a pleasant experience for us both. I’ve washed it for the first time recently and it washed really well, too! 10/10 would buy again.

The reversible playmat and sensory 3 pack of muslins went down really well as a gift for a friend who is expecting her second baby. I love the dandelion print muslin & the smaller cloths. They are for my new grandchild due in January so just collecting bits on the way. I’ve also bought the playmat which feels so soft. Cannot wait to see how baby takes to it all. I’ll let you know in January xx
