Babies' vision develops rapidly in their first year - they're learning to focus, track movement, see colour, and make sense of the world around them. Our products are designed with our consultant Orthoptist to support that developing sight at each stage.
Every pattern, colour and scale is designed to match what babies can actually see and engage with as their visual acuity sharpens. These aren't random designs - these are patterns created using the science of infant vision to continuously challenge and captivate as your baby grows.

When we had our babies, Muslin squares were quite frankly very boring… white, white and if you’re lucky a blue or a pink….
I spotted these beautifully different muslins on Etta and was drawn straight in, particularly when I read how babies vision is totally underestimated and how much they love bold patterns. I am so excited to give our Etta starfish Muslim to our son and daughter in law ready for baby due end of April..

I was gifted a couple of these muslins when I had my little boy from a family member. I loved them, made even better as they had an orthoptists input, which I thought was great since I work in orthoptics. My little boy plays with his 2 years down the line and they're still in great condition. I've bought my recent purchase for my friend as I think she'll love them too. Highly recommend them.

Really delighted with the muslin blanket. The quality of the material is so soft and the starfish pattern is really pretty. Would defiantly order other products, also as a gift as the packaging it came in was really pretty too.
The XL muslin is a great size and the starfish pattern is beautiful. Straight out of the box the muslin fabric is even softer than I hoped it would be and I’m sure it will only improve as it is washed and used.
My twins are 4 now and I still rave about this product to everyone who’s having a baby. It was so so useful! For feeding, giving baby something to distract them, shade for the buggy, something to lay on, I even used it as a scarf once! It’s my go to present for baby showers. 10/10
