This reversible organic cotton 6-layer muslin blanket brings together iconic Liberty design and the science of infant vision, to expertly support babies’ visual and cognitive development through their first year and beyond.

Lightweight yet cosy, it’s a practical and beautiful blanket for the pram, car, cot or sofa – or for laying on to encourage tummy time. With reversible patterns that evolve with babies’ visual ability, this blanket grows with your baby – offering comfort, stimulation and timeless style in equal measure.

Fairford Shadow is a whimsical floral in soft monochrome, designed to support and focus little eyes from birth to around 4 months.

Wharfedale Meadow is a blooming wildflower print, full of colour and detail to engage developing vision from 5 months onwards.

Beautifully packaged, it also makes a thoughtful gift – a little piece of design history for modern family living.

This is pattern with purpose - designed to calm, captivate and support your babies’ early development and make parenting that bit easier.

Why our patterns work

Babies' vision develops rapidly in their first year - they're learning to focus, track movement, see colour, and make sense of the world around them. Our products are designed with our consultant Orthoptist to support that developing sight at each stage.

Every pattern, colour and scale is designed to match what babies can actually see and engage with as their visual acuity sharpens. These aren't random designs - these are patterns created using the science of infant vision to continuously challenge and captivate as your baby grows.

Wash at 30 degrees with light colours. Avoid washing with any items with velcro to avoid snagging.

Reshape whilst damp if required.
